Meadowlark Valley is the music of J.J. Schrick including influences from folk rockers such as Fleet Foxes, Mumford and Sons, and Father John Misty. Playing all the instruments himself, JJ recorded his debut album "Cold Open" over the course of a summer in the studio connected to his college's radio station. Deeply rooted in nature and metaphor, Meadowlark Valley's raw sound tells of friendships and relationships.
